Horses — Dignity, Trust and Care

15. 04. 2026.

Horses are noble, intelligent and deeply emotional animals that have lived alongside humans for centuries, building a relationship based on trust, safety and mutual understanding. Behind their strength and beauty hides a very sensitive being that feels fear, stress, pain and emotion just as strongly as many other animals. That is why protecting horses is not only a matter of care, but a matter of humanity, empathy and the responsibility of society.
An approach to a horse must be calm, careful and full of respect. Horses clearly sense human energy, tone of voice and behaviour. Trust is not built by force, but by patience, consistency and a gentle relationship. When they feel safe, horses develop a strong bond with people and often show remarkable affection and emotional intelligence.
The welfare of a horse means far more than food and shelter — freedom of movement, clean space, regular veterinary care, proper nutrition and social contact with other animals. At Purple Clover we believe that every animal deserves a dignified life, protection and love. Horses are not a tool of labour nor a symbol of prestige — they are living beings that feel, remember and deserve respect.
